The Importance of Dinacharya

Dinacharya, meaning daily routine, is a guide to creating a home for a healthy mind, body, and soul. Committing to a routine brings your attention to what makes you feel balanced or imbalanced. Routine helps to establish balance in one's constitution. It also regulates a person's biological clock, aids digestion, absorption and assimilation, and generates self-esteem, discipline, peace, happiness, and longevity. Connecting to your inner clock is a step towards strengthening intuition. Intuition will slide you effortlessly through life’s ups and downs, it will bring your third eye, your inner awareness, to manifesting everything you need in life. This does not mean you will get all of the things you ask for, it means you will receive the gift of being the Knower, a different perspective on life will develop and you will blossom. The goal of Dinacharya is to connect your mind, body, and soul. This includes, but is not limited to, daily rituals like meditation, yoga, drinking warm water, and abhyanga. To begin these tasks, no matter what Dosha, one should always start their journey slowly and mindfully.
